Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all purchase orders submitted to Plant Starters webshop on www.plantstarter.se (in the following referred to as the Webshop), covering all purchase agreements that a consumer enters into online with N B Plant Starter AB, hereinafter referred to as Plant Starter. We encourage you to read these terms and conditions in their entirety before submitting an order. These terms and conditions may be updated and vary from time to time, which is why we ask you to read the terms and conditions previous to every order you place in the Webshop.

A binding purchase agreement is entered into as soon as your order has been confirmed by us and an order confirmation has been sent from Plant Starter to the e-mail address you submitted. If an item happens to run out of stock before the status has been correctly updated on the Webshop, Plant Starter will notify you of this by e-mail. We may then suggest an alternative item, or cancel the order in question and refund your purchase. If incorrect price information has been shown on the Webshop you will be given the opportunity to either purchase the item at the correct price, or cancel the order. Plant Starter reserves the right to decline or rescind a purchase agreement if fraud or other actions similar to fraud, such as unlawful use of another person’s credit card, are suspected.

To place an order in the Webshop you must be at least 18 years old and not under guardianship. Plant Starter presumes that minors who carry out purchases on www.plantstarter.se submit truthful information of their age and/or possess the necessary consent from their custodian to purchase the item(s). If not, the buyer may become liable for the possible costs an invalid agreement may involve.

PRICES

Occasionally there may be information in the Webshop that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information in the Webshop is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order). The prices in our Webshop constitute the total price (including VAT), but do not include delivery costs or potential payment fees. Outside the European Union, custom fees or other taxes and charges may be added to the purchase price. Discounted items are available as long as they do not run out of stock. Vouchers or discount codes are only valid once per person and purchase and only within the stated period of time, and may not be combined or transferred to another purchase, nor credited to a new item due to an exchange.

PAYMENT

Payment is possible in the currencies set out in the Webshop. Payment can be carried out by Klarna. Plant Starter reserves the right to check the cardholder’s address, the card’s validity, and that your account has the capacity to be charged with the full amount. Plant Starter reserves the right to decline a purchase. Please note we are currently unable to accept gift cards, merchandise cards, cash or checks as payment in the Webshop.

DELIVERY

Plant Starter accepts and processes the purchase orders in the same succession that they are submitted to the Webshop. We usually dispatch orders from our warehouse within 1 days, however during busy sales periods it can take a few days longer. As soon as your order is dispatched you will receive a confirmation email with the tracking information. Most orders are delivered within 2-7 business days after being dispatched.

PACKAGES RETURNED AS UNDELIVERABLE

If a purchase sent to you is returned as undeliverable, we reserve the right to charge you a fee covering the entire cost of the shipping and processing. Non-collected packages are normally not covered by the right to return items as well as the returned order.

DELAY

Should your order be delayed you will receive a message of this, including a new suggested time of delivery, at the latest within 30 days after you submitted your order. You may cancel the order if you do not accept the new suggested time of delivery. If your order has been delayed, and the new suggested time of delivery has been accepted but the order has not yet been delivered within 15 working days after the new estimated time of delivery, you may always cancel the order by notifying our customer services team. If such a delay should occur, whereby you choose to cancel the order, we will repay the prepaid amount to you. If the order has already been dispatched you will have to return the ordered items in order to receive repayment. We will pay the cost of the return.

TRANSPORT

All dispatched items are insured by Plant Starter. Should you discover any damage to the package prior to opening it please report this to Plant Starter.

Item that are damaged during transportation are replaced by Plant Starter free of charge. If you have received an incorrect or damaged item please contact us at info@plantstarter.se.

RETURNS

You always have the right to return your goods within 14 days of delivery. Returns are paid by the customer and are handled as described below.

For the return to be accepted the returned items must be essentially in the same condition in which it were sold and unused.

To make a return please send an email to info@plantstarter.se together with your name, order number and the reason for the return. We will then email you the delivery address for the return.
Please save your tracking number for the return. We also recommend obtaining proof of postage for your records.

Plant Starter will repay the price of the item as soon as possible, however at the latest within 30 days from the date the item was returned and received by us. The funds will be returned to your original method of payment. If you paid using your credit card, the amount will be repaid to the same card.

DAMAGED PRODUCTS

Plant Starter ensures that all products are meticulously checked through our quality control procedures before being dispatched to our customers. We work hard to avoid the emergence of damages or defects in our products. Should you find that an item despite this is damaged or otherwise defective, we will replace your item with a new sample of the item in question, if a new one is available. If a new item is not available, you will be refunded with the original cost of the item and the return cost, unless the defect can be repaired. If the damaged item was part of an order containing other purchased items, the cost of the original delivery will not be refunded. You are asked to always examine your received products at the time of delivery and as soon as possible report any deviations from your order to us. We will refund you as soon as possible, at the latest within 30 days from the date the returned item is received by Plant Starter, and we have established that the item is damaged or otherwise defective. Always save your receipt. The funds will be returned to your original method of payment. If you paid using your credit card, the amount will be repaid to the same card.

COLORS

We cannot guarantee that the colors appearing in the Webshop reflect the colors in reality. The colors can be reflected in different ways depending on for example your computer or phone screen, graphics card and the computer settings.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

All personal information you provide us with or that we obtain will be handled by Plant Starter as responsible for the personal information. The personal information you provide will be used to ensure deliveries to you, the credit assessment, to provide offers and information on our catalog to you. The information you provide is only available to Plant Starter and will not be shared with other third parties. You have the right to inspect the information held about you. You always have the right to request Plant Starter to delete or correct the information held about you. By accepting the Plant Starter Terms & Conditions, you agree to the above.

FORCE MAJEURE

Events outside Plant Starters control, which is not reasonably foreseeable, shall be considered force majeure, meaning that Plant Starter is released from Plant Starters obligations to fulfill contractual agreements. Example of such events are government action or omission, new or amended legislation, conflict, embargo, fire or flood, sabotage, accident, war, natural disasters, strikes or lack of delivery from suppliers. The force majeure also includes government decisions that affect the market negatively and products, for example, restrictions, warnings, ban, etc.

COOKIES

Plant Starter uses cookies according to the new Electronic Communications Act, which came into force on 25 July 2003. A cookie is a small text file stored on your computer that contains information that helps the website to identify and track the visitor. Cookies do no harm to your computer, consist only of text, can not contain viruses and occupies virtually no space on your hard drive. There are two types of cookies: “Session Cookies” and cookies that are saved permanently on your computer.

The first type of cookie commonly used is “Session Cookies”. During the time you visit the website, our web server assigns your browser a unique identifier string so as not to confuse you with other visitors. A “Session Cookie” is never stored permanently on your computer and disappears when you close your browser. To use Plant Starter Webshop without troubles you need to have cookies enabled.

The second type of cookie saves a file permanently on your computer. This type of cookie isused to track how visitors move around on the website. This is only used to offer visitors better services and support. The text files can be deleted. On Plant Starter Webshop we use this type of cookie to keep track of your shopping cart and to keep statistics of our visitors. The information stored on your computer is only a unique number, without any connection to personal information.

We use first-party and third-party cookies to measure events, maximize campaign performance, personalize ads on Titok, Facebook and Google.
